To this end, Southwestern College,  is expanding it’s instructional staff.  We are hiring morning, day and evening instructors part time and full time instructors to add to our staff.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description or Summary:

 

Teach multiple sections of Foundations of English, Business English, English Composition or American Literature to adult students. Maintain lesson plans in accordance with provided syllabus and textbook. Participate in provided quarterly professional development activities. Call absent students and maintain clear records of attendance and grading.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements
 

 

A Master’s degree of English is REQUIRED (Master’s of Education, Business, etc.  are not sufficient for this position and such applications will be disregarded). Previous teaching experience is required. Experience in adult education or training is preferred. 1-5 years experience in field or position required.
