Autism Associate (Social Work)
The Homestead develops and implements innovative solutions for people with autism.
Full-time and part-time positions available
- Autism Associate's at our Youth Home in Altoona will work with children with autism on self-care and social skill development. Evening, weekend, and some overnight shifts available.
Requirements
- No experience necessary. Extensive on-the-job training provided. Employer will reimburse for cost of obtaining a Class D (Non-Commercial) Chauffeur's License prior to employment.
- Starting wage $10.60/hour.
THE HOMESTEAD SUCCESSES
- Providing support for integrated activities, including shopping, attending sporting events, movies, and dining out.
- Decreasing self-injuries and aggressive behaviors
- Guiding the persons we serve to wellness through diet and exercise
