Business Development Manager - Senior Account Executive
Our client has pioneered a unique, network based approach to Internet Measurement and they have become the Leading International Online Competitive Intelligence Service. As a global enterprise with operations in the on 4 continents, they provide their 1,400 global clients with daily insights on how their customers interact with a broad range of competitive websites, and how their competitors use different tactics to attract online customers.
Their patented technology allows them to capture information from over 25 million internet users which is seamlessly integrated into an easy to use, web-based service designed to help marketing professionals better plan, implement and report on a range of online marketing programs.
At the present time, they are looking to for a talented Sales Professional to work out of their New York City office. The Business Development Manger placed in this role will be a key contributors to the long- term success of the business and will be responsible for introducing the company’s products to potential customers.
Additionally, the Business Development Manger will be expected to:
- Sustain the growth and profitability of the company by achieving new business sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Building referral and lead generation networks
- Maintaining an accurate prospecting database
- Actively manage and accurately forecast sales pipeline
- Meet with approximately 25 new prospects per month
- Attend team and individual training programs
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience
- Extremely internet savvy- experience selling an online service, online advertising, internet metrics/ measurement tools, online market research or any other web-based, interactive or digital product/ service preferred
- Experience selling a product or service to marketing professionals or advertising agencies a huge plus
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing

- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Persistent, thorough, and aggressive prospecting skills
- Superior time management and organizational skills – required!
- Strong presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up habits
- A diligent work ethic and the drive to “go the extra mile"
- Flexible, adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and highly motivated to succeed
- Relevant Four-Year, Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation includes a Base Salary, Commissions and Full Benefits.
First year earnings are expected to be in the $160K to $180K range with second year projected earnings in the $200K+ range.
