Miles Kimball Company, a subsidiary of Blyth, Inc, which includes Exposures, Miles Kimball Christmas Cards, Walter Drake, The Home Marketplace, and Easy Comforts currently has an exceptional opportunity for Copy Editor in our Oshkosh, WI office.
The Copy Editor will “own" individual catalog projects, processes and copy from concepts to final proof, proof read all brands’ advertising deliverables, catalogs and websites for grammar, editorial accuracy and adherence to established brand creative and copy guidelines; aiming for 100% accuracy on all projects, contribute innovative, creative ideas and concepts for headlines, editorial and new project copy, in collaboration with designers and merchants while ensuring communications are consistent with each brands’ voice and understand each brands’ goals and key initiatives, promotion and project performance, as they relate to product selection, copy, promotions and overall presentation using our established creative and brand filters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ copywriting, editing and proofreading experience, Bachelor’s degree or actively pursuing degree, ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multi-task daily job functions . Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint with prior Catalog Experience preferred.
