The Position:
ICG Commerce is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Sourcing Leader with expertise in a wide range of IT/Telecom categories to work with Fortune 500 clients to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support each company’s business goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels. In this capacity, you will be based out of ICG Commerce’s King of Prussia, PA office and will have substantial involvement in supporting sales and solution design and in helping procurement organizations expand their involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas. Specifically, you will:
- Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in IT/Telecom spending across a wide array of leading companies
- Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution
- Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans
- Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives, ensuring that the IT/Telecom sourcing team is supporting overall company direction and growth
- Mentor IT/Telecom sourcing team on stakeholder and project management, with a special emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, delivery excellence, continuous improvement, negotiations and contracting
- Represent the Sourcing & Category Management team as a category expert to current and prospective customers

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) from a top tier university
- Deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management process within Fortune 500 organizations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of IT/Telecom suppliers, such as Laptop/Desktop Hardware, Intel-level Servers, Mid-range Hardware, Storage, Telecom Hardware, Shrink Wrap Software, Application Software, Long Distance Voice-Data, and Wireless Services.
- Well-developed, solution-oriented selling skills
- Ability to drive transformational change
- Excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
- Solid multi-phase project management skills
- Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients
- Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
- Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction
