Description Richboro Rehab & Nursing Center, 82-bed long term care/skilled nursing facility located in Bucks County seeks an experienced, professional Registered Nurse for Director of Nursing.

The best candidate for this opening will work in concert with the Administrator and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and Richboro Rehab & Nursing Center standards, guidelines and regulations. In absence of the Administrator, assumes the responsibility for center operations.

The Director of Nursing Services (DON) conducts the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation - under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.

Eligible candidates will possess skills necessary to coordinate resident care activity relating to resident assessments, medication management, and overall resident satisfaction. The position requires leadership and technical ability, a documented history of working with the elderly, problem-solving skills, and a capacity to create and implement resident focused systems.

Requirements

Currently licensed as RN in Pennsalyvania State
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred
At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
Management experience in an assisted living, nursing home, or home health environment, and a thorough understanding of state and federal health regulations
