The candidate should have a background in Software test and validation either through work experience or through college course work. The product under development and test utilizes numerous algorithms, scientific calculations and a geographic track database.

The test engineer will be responsible for loading a test system with a software build and executing automated test scripts against the build. Test Failures must be documented clearly and details provided to identify the specific scenario that generated failures. The customer's software defect tracking system will be used to track and report status on defects.

The test engineer will also be responsible for Data Collection and analysis for field and other testing results and for generating graphs and reports for dashboards and management review.
