PLC Technician / Maintenance Technician

DECTON - Maintenance & Engineering is in immediate need of skilled PLC Technicians and Maintenance Mechanics within the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries in Orange County and Riverside County.  These are full time, permanent positions.  

Currently we have positions on all shifts (Day, Swing, and Grave) and are looking to hire quickly!  Experience with high speed packaging equipment, GMP food-beverage-or pharmaceutical products, and 24-7 manufacturing environments is highly desired. 


Maintenance Technician         ($23 - $25 per hour)                                                                             
With  knowledge of high speed manufacturing/packaging equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, conveyors and videojet printers. Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig), fabrication, and use of machine shop equipment is a plus.  Electrical knowledge and experience with AC/DC motors and drives, electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, servo motors.

PLC Technician                          ($26- $30 per hour)                                                                             

Capable of electrical installation per NEC code and preventative maintenance per NETA standards for electrical systems ranging in voltage from 5VDC to 480VAC.  Experience with troubleshooting on programmable logic controls (PLC) systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron), variable speed drives, servos, high speed packaging equipment, and  hydraulic & pneumatic systems.  Candidate must be capable of troubleshooting and installations from electrical schematics, checkweighers, X-ray, Inkjet printers and Metal detecting system experience preferred.  Knowledge and proficient use of electrical and controls calibration and testing tools.  Experience with photo eyes/sensors, limit switches, proximity switches.

Requirements for the positions include:

• Must have your own tools.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with supervisory staff and management.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Industrial Manufacturing / Production Maintenance.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check
