We have an immediate opening for a Sharepoint/Moss Architect.

We are looking for an engineer with expert-level expertise with Microsoft SharePoint 2003/2007 and MOSS technologies and features.  The Architect will bring expert-level competency in .NET Framework to include .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0/3.0. To be successful as the SharePoint Architect candidates need to have a good mix of all (or most) of the following skills and experience:

• This position requires candidates have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Secret Clearance which requires Citizenship in the United States and you will be subject to a government background investigation
• 5-10+ years of professional development experience using: .NET technologies with VB.net, C# and/or ASP.NET
• Experience developing applications for SharePoint 2007 including workflow and forms services
• Solid experience with UI development (WebForms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT) and business logic development
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level

Demonstrated skills in the following while not required are desired:

• Solid understanding of 3 tier architecture, objected oriented analysis and design
• Experience creating and consuming Web Services
• Experience with SQL Server 2005, Reporting Services, and tools like Management Studio, SSIS, Report Builder etc.
• Project Management
• Microsoft SharePoint 2007 (MOSS 2007)
• Infopath and Forms Services
• SQL Server 2005, Reporting Services, Integration Services
• .NET 2.0
• Windows Workflow foundation
• ASPX, C# and/or VB.net

Responsibilities include solving some of the most common and complex SharePoint (MOSS) issues in the industry:

• MOSS architecture design and development across one to several projects at a time. 
• Expert-level expertise with Microsoft SharePoint 2003/2007 and MOSS technologies and features.
• Expert-level competency in Visual Studio Tools for Office, Windows Workflow Foundation, Forms Server and Excel Services
• Broad experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0/3.0
• Experience with large-scale applications in a leadership role
• Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
• Leadership experience throughout the software lifecycle
• Consult on Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal server capabilities
• Design SharePoint solutions including Service-oriented architectures (SOA) integration
• Design and deploy SharePoint infrastructures
• Develop SharePoint prototypes, workflows, and document routing solutions  
• Develop customized Web parts for SharePoint
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and other SharePoint business intelligence reporting systems
• Migrate Windows SharePoint Services from version 2.0 to version 3.0
• Migrate SharePoint Portal Server from version 2003 to version 2007
• Consolidate corporate information with the SharePoint Business Data Connector.
