Foreclosure Paralegal (Aggressive Compensation Depending on Experience & Excellent Benefits Package)

We are currently seeking 2 Foreclosure Paralegals to join our Foreclosure Department. Foreclosure Paralegals will be responsible for a portfolio of 100+ files from inception through sale.

Responsibilities may include (but not limited to): 

• Foreclosure Paralegal will provide Paralegal Support to Legal Team in a high volume, deadline atmosphere. 

• Foreclosure Paralegal will be responsible for a portfolio of files from designated clients 

• Foreclosure Paralegal will be responsible for moving 100+ files 

• Prepare Legal Documents such as Complaints, Motions, Notice of Hearings, Affidavits, Defaults, Notice of Actions, etc

• Review Title Reports, Title Issues and prepares Title Claim Letter to underwriter

• Schedules Hearing with Judicial Assistants and coordinates dates with opposing Counsels

• Prepares files for Final Summary Judgment of Foreclosure Hearings and calculation of the final judgment totals

• Provide Service delays, Judgment and Sales results to client

• Provide client with foreclosure fees and costs

• Review reports for timeframes

Requirements/Preferences:

• Education - Minimum High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree, CLA and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred)

• Legal Experience - Minimum 1 year working as a Foreclosure Paralegal (litigation experience preferred) 

• Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner

• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team
  nvironment

Bankruptcy Paralegal (Aggressive Compensation Depending on Experience & Excellent Benefits Package)

We are currently seeking 2 Bankruptcy Paralegals to join our Bankruptcy Team.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self starter that thrives in a fast paced, high pressure complex environment. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will work with members of the Bankruptcy Team and Bankruptcy Attorneys to move the files through the system accurately and efficiently. 

Requirements/Preferences:

• 6+ Months of Bankruptcy Experience (Creditor or Debtor)

• Paralegal Degree or Certificate preferred but not required

• Knowledge of Windows, MS Office products and good familiarity of the Internet required 

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. 

• Keen attention to detail. 

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 

• Strong customer service skills. 

• Ability to work independently.
