Job Description

Our client, a large, privately-held company with operations throughout the city is seeking a staff accountant to join their team!  As the staff accountant, this person will work directly with the accounting manager and controller on the day-to-day accounting functions, including the month-end close process, performing account reconciliations, as well as getting involved with the company's consolidated financials for several subsidiaries.

  • Provide assistance with year-end audit process
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Create monthly journal entries for cash transactions and for expense account activity
  • Work with the accounting manager and controller on the company's consolidated financials
  • Perform general accounting tasks, as assigned, to relieve some of burden of the assistant controller

    • Job Requirements


    • 3+ years hands-on accounting experience
    • MAS 90 experience a must
    • Good written and oral communication skills
