SIGN FABRICATOR
Job Description
Onin Staffing is currently recruiting for a Fabricator in the Homewood, AL area. This person will need to able to take a drawing, follow verbal and written instructions, cut parts (tubing, aluminum panels, gussets, etc) and weld a sign to meet dimensional specifications. The construction of the signs are hand fitted, utilizing clamps, tack welds, fillet welds, glue, screws, hand tools and various sheet-metal fabricating machines. This is craftsman position not an assembly line or heavy welding position.
Must have the following:
- Mig-Welding experience does not have to be certified.
- A background in building and fabricating. exp. (carpentry, custom cabinet making, jig building, race car body building, and boat building)
- Solid work history
- Reliable and willing to work overtime
