Bridgeway Behavioral Health is a non-profit organization specializing in treatment and services for addictive disorders, domestic violence, and sexual assault. We are a growing company that has been serving clients in eastern Missouri since 1978. Bridgeway currently has approximately 175 full time, part time and on-call social services and administrative positions in several locations and programs around the St. Louis metro area. Bridgeway is seeking a full time Chemical Dependency Counselor to work in our Troy, Missouri Outpatient Drug Treatment Center. This individual MUST have MSAPCB certification or Missouri licensure with minimum one year paid experience working with drug and alcohol addictions treatment and rehabilitation. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 10a-8p.

Duties:
• Conducts client intake assessments.
• Conduct individual and group therapy for clients with drug and alcohol dependency.
• Provide direct treatment services to clients and families of clients, and maintain necessary file documentation.
• Secure appropriate referrals from other service provider agencies and make such referrals.
• Assist in establishing effective working relationships with other agencies and community resources.
• Provide assistance to clients and families in obtaining counseling for economic, marital, employment, aftercare, and ongoing support.
Job Requirements
Must have basic computer experience to include Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work independently.
MissouriLPC or LCSW with minimum one year experience providing chemical addictions treatment OR
RSAP, CCJAP, CSAC I or II (CADC, CRADC) or CASAC (CRAADC) as acknowledged by the MissouriSubstance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board, Inc, OR
RASAC I or II as acknowledged by the Missouri Substance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board, Inc
Salary Range for a qualified counselor: $32,000/year - $40,000/year
Salary Range for an associate counselor (RASAC I or II): $12.50-$14.00/hour
