Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to sourcing, analyzing, listing and selling both distressed and opportunistic real estate investments for banks, servicers and other financial institutions.

 

Ideal candidates are professional, self-motivated, and aggressive and must be able to thrive in a competitive, entrepreneurial environment. Strong and effective communications skills are a must (both written and verbal). Candidates must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

 

Paramount to the position is the ability to build strong relationships; show a propensity for attention to detail/analytical minded; and the ability to perform comparable transaction analysis, discounted cash flow modeling and property-level due diligence.

 

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is required. Candidates must hold a State of Michigan Real Estate Salesperson’s License and at a minimum, have four (4) years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Specific experience in the sale of distressed properties is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is a must. Experience with Argus and other financial modeling software preferred.
