We are seeking talented and motivated consultants of all levels to be a part of our growing team.  The consultants will be working in Alternative Asset (Private Equity, Hedge Funds, etc.) accounting and operations to facilitate development and implementation of improvements to client's operations and information technology systems.  They will partner with team members, including members of the client team to implement projects.  The Consultants' responsibilities are critical to the success of this growing firm.  The Business Consultant will be an integral team member and an active participant in process improvement projects at top alternative asset & investment management firms.  Responsibilities will extend throughout the entire project life cycle from requirements definition through implementation and support.

Requirements

 

The successful applicant will have:

 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience solving complex problems independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.  Capable of establishing rapport while working on client teams.Proven leadership skills - capable of taking leadership and ownership of work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Significant familiarity with or willingness to learn alternative assets, accounting, and finance operations
  • The ability to interact with vendors and partners to acquire information critical to the requirements, costs or ability to execute the proposal Interest in being a part of a small but aggressively growing consulting firm in a fast paced, exciting industry

 

Principal Work Activities

 

The Business Consultant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

 

  • Documenting business processes and data requirements
  • Defining and recommending business process improvements
  • Developing detailed designs and documentation for solutions
  • Documenting of business constraints and assumptions
  • Assessing training and documentation requirements
  • Creation of user testing strategies, plans, scripts, etc. and participating in test execution
  • Identifying project issues/risks and recommending solutions
  • The development of project timelines and scope
  • Defining and documenting project deliverables
