Job Description

Truck Country is one of the largest and most dynamic truck dealers in the U.S. today, serving customers at 12 locations throughout Iowa and Wisconsin.  For over 50 years, Truck Country has offered new and used medium and heavy duty trucks along with outstanding service and an extensive parts inventory.

 

Because of our continued growth and success, Truck Country of Wausau continues to be on the lookout for experienced outside sales professionals and territory managers to join the Truck Country team in our Truck Sales Department.

 

Duties include B2B sales of new and used medium and heavy duty trucks for the Quad Cities territory.    This position is responsible for the management of existing accounts and development of new accounts through extensive cold calling. Must have a background of successful outside sales experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to close the sale.



Job Requirements

Requirements for a Truck Sales Representative include:

 

  • Ability to gather and submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects.  
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple quotes simultaneously.  
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.  
  • Ability to perform well with non-daily supervision and direction, be self driven, motivated and results orientated.  
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals.  
  • Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.  
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ACT.
