Web Director

Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA) is a dynamic, international sponsorship organization serving children, youth and the aging in 24 developing countries. We have been serving the poor and marginalized of the world for 28 years. The Web Director’s primary responsibility is to identify, recommend, develop and implement web strategies that best support the organization’s goals and objectives. This individual is responsible for monitoring industry best practices and emerging technologies, educating the organization about them, making recommendations on utilizing them, and implementing selected recommendations. The Website Director ensures effectiveness, quality and consistency of the organization’s presence on the Word Wide Web. 


Will work with cross-functional teams to successfully complete site initiatives and launches within specified timelines and budgets. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically.
Requirements Knowledge of content management systems with significant hands-on experience in all aspects of online marketing and communications, including website design, layout, SEO; advanced knowledge of HTML web technologies, web design and graphics, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; strong collaboration skills; knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web metric tool(s), content management systems; experience with Sitecore a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  includes the following among others

Lead and implement current web strategies while looking for opportunities to enhance the organizations presence on the world wide web.

 

Define requirements, identify and confirm design, and manage the testing and implementation of improvements and new initiatives.

 

Develop and design graphics and multimedia applications for the web. 

Serve as the subject matter expert with regard to site architecture, content, and technology that supports optimal performance on search engines in both paid and organic rankings.

Develop, implement and monitor effective online advertising strategies.

 

Help educate and train Communications team on best practices in writing for the web and development of content.

Analyze web traffic data and prepare reports highlighting key information, trends and opportunities.

Provide additional website support and backup as needed.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university and a minimum of three to five years in web development leadership or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Salary & Benefits: Salary DOE. Fully paid benefit package for employee: Health, Dental, Life AD&D, STD, LTD and 403(b) with generous paid-time-off allotment.
