Under the responsibility of the Lean Manager this position is in charge of implementing the quality system throughout the plant, within the framework of the lean Manufacturing program
- Participate in the implementation of the PSM Training, follow-up Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA).
- Develop a system to isolate parts and production not in compliance iwth Louis Vuitton criteria
- Implement a visual management of the quality (pertinent indicators/goals/challenging organization)
- Secure the process parameters (Operating process, Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM)
- Develop tools and masters for quality inspectionfor every step of the production process (final inspection and the feedback fo the correctional actions following Cergy inspection/customer returns
- Coaching of the quality supervisor to improve the usage of the tools and processes
- Manage the documentation (development and follow-up of the quality procedures)
- Train and assist all department teams to use quality tools (PMS, audits, Kamishibai)
- Lead a daily quality reporting with results, goals and PDCA
- Lead weekly meetings with production supervisors with results, goals and PDCA in collaboration iwth production manager
- Lead a monthly meeting with managers, with results, goals and PDCA in collaboration with Lean Manager
- Be the San Dimas correspondent of the actions driven by LVUSM Quality department (PSM, Lean quality subcontracting and suppliers)
- Share Best Practices with other Louis Vuitton plants in France and with headquarters
Reports to Lean Manager
Interfaces with Quality, Technical and Production Departments was well with Europe (France and headquarters)
- Bachelor Degree: ME, IE with emphasis on Lean Manufacturing and Quality Engineering
- 5-10 years relevant experinece
- Prefer bilingual English and Spanish
