Clinical Liaison - Hospital
Hospital System in Delaware County is looking for a Clnical Liaison. In this position you will act as a liaison between internal and external referral sources. The Clinical Liaison is responsible for establishing relationships with physicians and other referral sources. The Clinical Liaison will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening in conjunction with the Rehab Medical Director.
This position requires a professional level of knowledge in physician relations, and experience interfacing with managed care companies, Medicare, or other payors. Clinical experience required with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and marketing. Prior acute rehabilitation experience is preferred, but not required. Extensive knowledge of local provider and medical community.
This position requires occasional evenings and weekend coverage and routine day travel.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all healthcare team members.
They are looking for someone with a background in RN, LPN, PT, OT or SLP program.
