Description Perform nursing care and other personal services to patients whose conditions can vary widely from those requiring normal nursing care to those requiring close observation. Is subject to work in rotating shifts and amy function in a variety of patient care settings on short notice. Takes and records temperature, pulse and blood pressure, height and weight, measures and records intake and output, and gives routine care to pre and postoperative patients. May be asked to assist with bandage changes as well as ambulating, lifting, or transfer of patients. Requires assistance with personal care such as bathing, shaving, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. May also be required to assist with CPR in case of an emergency.

Requirements

6 months experience within the last 3 caring for patiens in and ambulatory and/or acute care setting. BCLS required.
