Nurse Director Critical Care Services     
My client a well established healthcare system that is growing, is in need of a Director Critical Care for one of their facilities. Responsibilities will be to oversee all day to day operations of the service line program with duties including, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, mentoring, patient care, customer service, and building strong working relationships with the physicians. This Director will be responsible for overseeing several bed units along with a Cardiac program. The beds units will include ICU, CVICU, Cardiac Inpatient, Stepdown and Telemetry, and will have 4 Nurse Managers report to this Director with a team of approximately 300 + FTE's. This Director will also have oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, such as, JCAHO, State Licensing Review, CMS, core measures, peer review, and other regulatory agencies. This Director will report directly to the CNO and also maintain oversight for all performance improvement and quality activities conducted throughout the service line.
