Horizon Bay Retirement Living is seeking a Senior Community Sales Specialist for our Western region, covering California, Arizona and Colorado.

Managed by Horizon Bay, in total there are approximately 10 communities in the region.

The Sales Specialist position will "float" and "fill in" between the communities throughout a specific, large geographical region depending on the challenges and staffing needs of the community relations departments. We are searching for accomplished sales and marketing professionals with proven track records selling as well as creating leads, community outreach, customized follow up, relationship building and closing.

What are we looking for?

• Candidates must possess senior living industry preferably in the independent living market

• A degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred but not required

• Basic computer skills required including database management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Organizational skills

What you would be doing:

• Conducting tours, luncheons or other strategies with prospective residents

• Following the marketing plans and strategies
• Research, and census development
• Advertising
• Public relations
• Processing of applicants for admissions and maintaining waiting lists.
