Responsibilities include design, and implement mixed-signal ASIC characterization and test systems
Develop performance models and test parameters for user interface devices and associated circuits.
Design hardware for ASIC and system test functions.
Support ASIC design and verification efforts. Design support for internal and customer driven projects
Ability to work on a broad variety of tasks, and enjoy working in a high paced startup environment within a larger company.

Education Required: Masters Degree
Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years
Experience in digital and analog circuit design; special strength in analog circuit design required
Experience in design of high-precision circuits for device characterization
Familiar with signal integrity issues in test system design
Extensive experience in circuit simulation
Strong troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of mixed signal ASIC verification methodology
Experience in mixed signal ASIC test and characterization
Experience with circuit simulation algorithms and tools such as SPICE.
Experience with schematic capture tools such as ORCAD or Viewlogic
Familiarity with PCB and IC layout tools
Familiarity with logic simulation tools
Experience with use of test equipment such as wafer probe stations, logic analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes etc.
Experience in product development and design-for-manufacturing
Knowledge of surface-mount technologies
Knowledge of regulatory requirement
PCB design experience
Experience with digital IC and microcontroller design
Experience with FPGA and ASIC design
Experience with programming instrument control systems in languages such as Labview and C.
Experience with circuit modeling and simulation in languages such as Matlab and C.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment that places strong emphasis on schedules and deliverables
