Consulting - Director - Tech svcs strategy Job

We are looking to hire a Director of IT Advisory who will be a key contributor to the McGladrey Technology Services team in helping to build a world class Technology Services Consulting Practice .in South Florida. He/ she will interact with clients recommending the technology service offerings. The goal to drive business growth with a strong focus on ERP, Infrastructure, IT Strateg and business development in the Florida practice. He / she will have a dual responsibility to grow the IT consulting services practice in the region by prioritizing and building business capabilities and overseeing a practice of experienced Technology Services professionals: helping to achieve its growth, meet with goal, sales objectives and maintain a best practice.

Scope of Services

In the role of IT Advisory Director he/ she will use their expertise to:

• Be the Leader for the Southern Florida region: working with clients - developing an action plan using the tools/ solutions the of the practice
• Help to build and grow the IT Services practice for the Southern Florida region
• Provide oversight to client services in focusing on delivering ERP, Infrastructure, process improvement and other IT Solutions
• Proven business development skills to build and expand the practice
• Identifying business opportunities and enhancing the go - to market strategies
• Oversee the work and mange the engagements and team members ensuring quality and to client is delivered
• P&L responsibility

Organization of Relationships:

The Director of IT Advisory will have the following reporting relationships:

• Direct: responsible to the FL Leader of Technology Services.
• Indirect: work closely with the other service line leaders to implement the plans and achieve goals

Position requirements

• As a key member of the Technology Service team, he / she will be leading the growth of the practice for the region;
• Responsible for diagnosing Technology process issues focused around ERP, infrastructure, and IT Strategy to assist with design and drive implementation / roll out of business solutions to deliver a best practice;
• Work closely with team members, mentor and develop to achieve goals and meet objectives;
• Successful track record of building and growing an IT practice;
• Proven demonstration of the ability to manage a team and oversee a service line;
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and or a proven record of success with identifying and obtaining new service opportunities and taking the opportunities through the sales cycle, including the following:
- defining IT Technology resource requirements, project workflow, budgets
- identifying and addressing client needs;
• A track record of building methodologies to various serve offerings covered;
• Demonstrates thorough abilities to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships and understand the client's business;
• Proven people skills: demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven track record of success with operating in a professional services firm or large consultancy;
• Assisting with the leading of teams to establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation;
• Excellent written, oral, presentation skills, innovative thinker;
• A proven record of success working seamlessly in a virtual environment to complete projects with team members based in various locations, domestically and globally;
• Demonstrates creative thinking, individual initiative, and flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;
• Keeps up to date with the IT Technology Industry- following the industry's advancements, challenges, and discoveries.
