Position: Java Developer
Type: 1 year renewable contract

Job Description:
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible supporting a project intiative for the conversion of multiple internal mainframe applications to a very large internal web based application. Candidates will need to have recent hands on experience using Struts 2.0 or later, and strong JavaScript skills.
Requirements:
4 + yrs of Java development
Java, J2EE
Struts 2
HTML/JSP
RAD7 or Eclipse
Strong object oriented design and development skills
Familiarity with – jQuery, mybatis, DB2/SQL
Experience with freemarker would be beneficial but is not required
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
Good written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
