We provide full-scale professional services to both public and private sector transportation clients.TranSystems San Diego office is seeking an experienced mid-level Structural Engineer. Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in either large commercial, waterfront or bridge design projects. California Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer license required with 4+ years comprehensive structural engineering experience. You will have strong production level experience with concrete and steel design to CBC, UFC or Caltrans codes required. Senior level engineers with excellent client relations would be a plus. You will have project management experience leading and exercising functional authority for successful completion of multi-discipline engineering projects. You will have strong oral and written communication skills and a working knowledge of AutoCAD and familiarity with structural engineering design software desirable. Responsibilities: Structural design, construction support, field investigations, report writing, specification writing and cost estimating for waterfront, airport, bridge and military facilities.
