Department Description: Specifically, the Program Management Department is fulfilling a need to fill a position that has been created due to an increase in business for sold services. Overall, the Program Management Department in Systems Integration for the USFGMD sets business goals to successfully implement and integrate complex Motorola systems sold world-wide to the US Federal Government. This includes working with various disciplines both internal and external to Motorola in the interest of providing total customer satisfaction and achieving Division goals.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the installation efforts of company and/or subcontractor personnel. Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements and prescribed quality standards. Develop clear understanding of all contract requirements and negotiate all installation subcontracts. Controls inventory of equipment and parts. Coordinates all system training, optimization, testing, and acceptance. Prepare budgets, reports, and scheduling fo reach project assigned. Prepares bids and quotes for Systems Integration. Ensures the profitability and customer satisfaction of the project.
Knowledge Skills: -6+ years experience in project management;
Bachelors Degree preferred
PMP preferred
prior technical background of 4+ years experience as an Engineer, Senior technician, Project Leader, or similar experience.
Demonstrated ability to successfully apply advanced project management skill in such areas as customer relations, team building, matrix management, project planning, conflict resolution, and budget.
Capable of developing detailed project status reports and conducting formal customer briefings.
Computer skills capable of working with databases, Outlook, MS Office and Project, and some AutoCAD.
Knowledge and ability to work Oracle PM and reporting is critical.
Quote activity, ensuring service quotations are correct, and writing subcontracts.
knowledge or proper installation procedures and can determine proper quality installation workmanship.
Willing to travel and live at project site for extended periods.
