Command Center Scheduler

The primary duty of a Command Center Scheduler at Assurant is to optimize the scheduling of call center associates through successful completion of the following:

  • Supporting the Command Center Analysts by providing real-time monitoring of RTA and CenterVu
  • Monitoring agent's schedule adherence/compliance, recognizing problem areas and taking appropriate actions for improvement
  • Assisting with attendance tracking; including creating and distributing attendance reports
  • Assisting with the overtime process as needed
  • Assisting the Command Center Analysts with data gathering and reporting requirements
  • Maintaining a detailed daily log of actions taken to attain or exceed service level/schedule objectives
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all data surrounding call center activities

Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of Call Center experience
  • Good understanding of call center terminology and functions
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with other Call Center team members
  • Accustomed to making sound and timely decisions based on diverse data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CenterVu and RTA applications desired, experience with workforce management software (eWorkforce Management, Blue Pumpkin) a  plus
