Responsible for the administration, reporting, and processes related to the implementation and development of AEG�s supplier diversity program. This is a hands-on role which requires the incumbent to possess a combination of passion in supporting and developing minority businesses and a willingness to execute the details.
Essential Job Functions: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
� Assist in the design, development, and implementation of AEG's Supplier Diversity Program.
� Create and administer detailed reports and analyses in support of supplier diversity strategies.
� Administer AEG�s Supplier Portal daily in support of all minority businesses.
� Monitor AEG/partner diversity performance and assess and identify enhancements.
� Actively forge and develop effective working relationships internally and externally.
� Provide resources and support for MBE/WBE/DBE/DVBE firms related to the certification process and AEG purchasing practices
� Attend on behalf of AEG and participate in business organizations such as the Latin Business Association, Asian Business Association, GLAAACC, MBOC, SCMBDC, and NAWBO, etc. as needed.
� Coordinate events, conferences, and other programs that support AEG Supplier Diversity Initiatives
Non-essential Job Functions: In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by Supervisor.
� Maintain requirements, documentation and standard operating procedures around supplier diversity processes and reports
� Assist with planning and execution of system improvements
� Excellent written & verbal communication skills
� A strong passion for supplier diversity and development of program
� Must possess computers skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Education:
Bachelors - Major: Business
Experience:
� Minimum 1 to 3 years supplier diversity experience and working knowledge of small business community.
� Prefer experience in national supplier diversity programs and development of minority businesses.
