Banquet Food Servers work as part of the Banquet Team to ensure guest satisfaction. The banquet wait staff serve food & beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner and maintain high standards of quality. Banquet Servers must be knowledgeable of event menu items and their contents, appropriate table settings and service ware, and the correct preparation and garnishing methods. Banquet Food Servers are also responsible for setting up, maintaining and breaking down banquet rooms.
Training: There will be a two hour paid training day scheduled for all that are interested in this "as needed" basis as the events are scheduled. We are creating a specific group that would work together as a team that would be designated for the different events that will be held at the venue in Gainesville.
Requirements: Must be Professional with no visible body art, must be able to communicate in English, 2+ years experience working in a full service restaurant, banquet, catering or wait staff, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs if needed, tray serve, meet the drug screen and criminal background requirements, must have a strong work ethic, and able to work the entire event on your feet, and walking.
Uniform: Black Tuxedo slacks or similar black slacks, black non slip shoes (not tennis shoes), black belt, and black socks. All Hair must be pulled off of the shoulders, no loud make up, nail polish or strong perfume or cologne. Shirts that are pressed and dry cleaned will be provided.
Other events may be available at other venues, on different days, please let us know if you would be interested in also working all other events.
