Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect will have primary responsibility for designing Architecting Solutions for a variety of enterprise initiatives, and aligning these solutions with the overall enterprise reference architecture and roadmap. This position will report to the Director of Architecture, setting the enterprise architecture vision and tying it to the business' objectives.
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for setting policies, standards, and guidelines for the IT organization's environment including lifecycle and asset management, security, and technology governance. The Enterprise Architect will be part of the enterprise architecture team and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical, application, information, process, and infrastructure views of the architecture. The Enterprise Architect will maintain close working relationships with key stakeholder from our business and technology management, to understand our business and and technical goals as well as providing a clear roadmap to ensure IT and the line of business are integrated and meeting each other's expectations, and communicating this roadmap to all impacted stakeholders is key to success.

Architecture: Define, and maintain the vision and guidelines for enabling and implementing software architecture in the BSS/OSS, Integration, Data, System Processes, Application and Security domains.

Ensure that there is a disciplined process for future architecture requirements including standardization.

Assessment of the issues and risks related to architecture, infrastructure, and security of assets to provide the best, well balanced solution architecture.

Develop a "big picture" vision of architecture strategy in an environment where customized, autonomous decisions have been made.

Responsible for guiding the Lifecycle Planning team to ensure the health of our systems and technologies.
Leadership
-
Establish strong relationships with the business and IS groups within our organization, teaching and driving improved communication of the architecture vision and the needs and issues as they relate to architecture, infrastructure, and security.

Provide ongoing evaluations of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required and MBA or Masters in Computer Science is preferred

10+ years Information Technology experience

3-5 years of relevant industry experience to include enterprise architecture, Business and operational support systems and ideally, the wireless telecommunications industry

Must be a strong communicator, presenting technical topics in a business-oriented fashion to non-technical audiences, building partnerships throughout the organization, in addition fluency in technical language and ability to communicate to technical audiences is key.

Must be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever changing environment

Excellent written and verbal skills ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing required
