This opportunity is a diverse, collaborative role where you will be able to consult with both internal and external business partners. ettain group has an immediate opening for a Security Consultant for a company in North Charlotte. Responsibilities: • Design and build security controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual requirements and to meet information security standards.  • Ensure secure coding methods are employed throughout the application development process. • Conduct implementation of sound Identity & Access Management Tools.  • Ensure the proper use of Application and Code Scanning Tools, as well as Security tools. • Meet with business and IT partners, understand project and solution objectives, collaborate on developing compliant and secure solutions, develop relationships and trust, and to be accountable for the outcome. • Secure solution development and ensuring that applications and services meet security standards, regulatory requirements and contractual requirements. Requirements Candidates should be knowledgeable of some, if not all, of these technologies and regulations: •        Knowledge of the security benefits and limits, and use of: state full inspection firewalls, routers ACLs, client to site IPSec VPN, client to IPSec VPN, site to site VPNs, web application firewalls, content filtering, proxy, reverse proxy •        Identity Access Management concepts and principles •        Mobile Data Management - mobile application concepts •        Cloud Security •        Virtual Desktop Infrastructure •        Knowledge of web server security, SOA, Secure Web Services, XML •        SOX regulations •        PCI regulations For immediate consideration, please contact Katie Schneider at 704-409-7608 and apply online.
