WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: BDHHI Sales & Marketing Leadership; Home Depot Regional Personnel; Key Store Personnel; Regional In-Store Service (ISS) Personnel; Home Depot Regional Training Coordinators.
SUMMARY: This individual�s primary focus will be to implement Kwikset/Baldwin/PricePfister sales, marketing, and training strategies in their respective areas which will result in sales growth and market share gains.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
� Implement Kwikset/Baldwin/PricePfister strategy through managing a market of 80-120 Home Depot stores.
� Responsible for management of all aspects of In-Store Service groups (ISS) performance in areas of fundamentally sound stores, MAP and promotional execution, and special projects.
� Develop and leverage strong relationships within all levels of Home Depot personnel (District Managers, Regional Managers, Key Store Managers).
� Develop and present proposals to gain commitment on regional and divisional promotions, off-shelf execution, host orders, and support of national marketing campaigns.
� Plan and conduct regional/district wide Product Knowledge sessions.
� Develops marketing strategy for a particular store and/or manager
� Influence and communicate on a consistent basis with key decision makers with Home Depot and BDHHI.
� Provide consistent communication to BDHHI sales and marketing management on market trends and competitive information.
� Prepare and present quarterly market reviews for key BDHHI and HD personnel.
� Utilize all available resources to gather market data and analyze market performance in order to develop and execute market share gain opportunities. Determine course of action and execute to drive sales gains in market.
� Will require approximately 90% travel for commuting to Home Depot stores and offices, approximately 40% will be overnight travel depending on territory.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Special projects assigned by Regional Managers and / or retail sales leadership.
KEY MEASUREMENTS:
1. Drive Top Line Sales
a. Achieve Quarterly and Yearly POS and Order goals.
b. Aggressively pursue market host orders.
2. Key Decision Maker Penetration
a. Quarterly face to face meetings with District Managers.
b. Monthly communication of promotions, events, execution and overall business results.
c. Quarterly communication with Regional Training Coordinators.
3. Consistency, Accountability, and Metrics
a. 100% Fundamentally Sound Stores
b. 90%+ Execution of MAP objectives.
4. Business Management:
a. Work within guidelines of assigned budget.
b. Timely completion of all administrative duties.
c. Take advantage of all e-learning and BDHHI University training.
Education and Work Experience:
� Bachelor�s Degree required, Business or Marketing degree preferred.
� Prior experience in Home Depot or Retail Home Center sales and/or operations preferred.
� Other retail and/or consumer goods sales experience preferred.
