At Gentiva, you can be a part of a revolutionary new cardiopulmonary disease management program. Through this unique program, you will mentor patients ~ giving them the confidence to ultimately manage their disease on their own. Led by a Cardiac RN Director who understands just how important cardiopulmonary disease management is, you'll work with patients in the surroundings most conducive to patient comfort - their own homes. As the Cardiopulmonary RN Director, you will: *Develop/direct training programs via Gentiva University and branch classroom for field staff to enhance their knowledge/skills in the components of the Clinical Specialty. *Act as mentor to the field staff. *Develop and implement marketing plans for the growth of the Clinical Specialty. Develop operating, financial and marketing protocols (procedures, practices) for the specialty in the branch. *Determine market potential, competition, regulatory climate, licensure requirements and medical community support for the Clinical Specialty. Assure compliance to Corporate Compliance Program and HIPAA guidelines. Meet with existing and potential customers to educate on Specialty disease management components and to establish fair market pricing. *Recruit, interview and hire clinical support staff required for the Specialty. Support performance reviews and counseling sessions to enhance potential/growth of specialty staff. *Assist with the preparation of specialty budget and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints. *Act as a central resource for information on the Specialty.
Qualifications *Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or the equivalent *A minimum of five years experience in the specialty area *Three years of supervisory experience *A Diploma from an accredited Registered Nurse Program *Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) to which assigned *ACLS and CCRN credentialing *Business development and marketing skills *Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and organizational skills
