What does a 2014 Summer Internship with FIS entail?
As a 2014 Summer Intern with FIS you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, social events, and professional development. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 2nd, 2014 and conclude on August 8th, 2014. Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. An Intern should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned by experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creation and Design of Online Video Streaming Documentation
o Point of Sale Installation for Merchants
o Voucher Creation
o How to use the POS Device
• Video Production of Online Video Streaming Documentation
o Final Cut Pro and Motion
• Web Design for Clients to reach Online Video
• Web Content Management Site Development
• Applicant must be currently enrolled in collegiate coursework at an accredited university majoring in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Displays good written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.
• Communication Digital Media Production
o Apple iMovie, Final Cut or Similar Video Editing
o Online Video Production
o Video Streaming Setup and Management
• Digital Story Telling
• Web Application Development
o .Net or J2EE Framework
Entry level role. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Generally performs single-function tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope. Works under close supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Typically does not require prior related experience.
