Position Description:
This is an ONLINE FULL TIME FACULTY position to instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the online learning environment to support an exceptional student experience. Provide career education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning that values and strives to achieve mutual responsibility, life-long learning, student persistence through individual courses and an entire program, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development. Possess qualifications to teach a variety of classes within the specified program area (four courses per academic quarter). This position also includes additional responsibilities (as assigned) related to mentoring to online faculty, participating in curriculum and course development, participating on various academic committees and special projects.

Position Requirements:
Phd in Accounting from an accredited University (AACSB accreditation preferred). Previous college-level teaching experience, and work-place experience directly related to the subject domain. At least 6 months of online teaching experience with excellent teaching skills as evidenced in prior teaching evaluations
High-level technology proficiency, with relevant software proficiency as required by the specified subject domain
Strong commitment to the online education mission
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work from a home office as part of a virtual team
Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format teaching four courses per academic quarter and to work online with students on a daily basis for five of seven days per week
