The Systems Support Planner is the liaison between the Information Technology team and the Merchandise Planning community. Planner will insure the tools developed for the business are meeting its needs, and are enhanced as required. Customer satisfaction is the Planner’s ultimate goal. The Planner will observe the business process, gather feedback and act to support the objectives of the business. The planner will report upon and evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the planning and forecasting systems, and provide recommendations to improve results.

Job Specifications:

•Systems and Business process support for the Merchandise Planning community
•Troubleshooting and resolving issues
•Promoting the effective use of planning systems
•Preparation and analysis of reporting in the areas of forecast accuracy and systems utilization
•Development of seasonality indexes that will be implemented in forecasting systems
•Maintenance of inputs that effect forecasting systems and reporting
•Management of user profiles and access
•Participation in the development of new planning systems
•Technical and functional testing of new systems
•Testing business work flow through new systems prior to implementation
•Participation in formal systems training and on-the-job support
 RequirementsJob Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in retail or a related business field
•Minimum 3-5 years background in Merchandise Planning, Replenishment Planning and Forecasting
•Excellent Customer Service skills
•Excellent analytical skills
•Proficiency in MS Office; Excel a must, Access a strong plus
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to think creatively and adapt to new technology
