Hours Per Pay Period: 48 Weekend Rotation: Required Holiday Rotation: Required Additional Shift Details: Date Posted: 1/29/2013 This is a Clinical Nurse II position in our Level II Nursery. The CN II possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the patient’s care in a competent manner. They can demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care in the clinical area. The CN II must continue to integrate knowledge, concepts and skills from experience and continuing educational opportunities to maintain the Clinical Nurse II status as per the Clinical Ladder Guidelines. Education or Formal Training: (Certifications) Requirements: Current Colorado RN Licensure, BLS certification, NRP and ACLS are required certifications; Knowledge and Experience: The Level II NICU position requires at least 3 years of recent NICU experience (level II or higher), well newborn care, newborn delivery admission experience and postpartum care experience. Ability: Demonstrates professional behavior as defined by LUH standards; interacts appropriately with others, including employees, patients and the public. Validation of other Competencies as required by specific area; utilizes communication strategies that promote quality patient care.
