URS has an Electrical Technician Supervisor I opening available at our client's facility in Winston Salem, North Carolina!

The Electrical Technical Supervisor will be the electrical subject matter expert with the PLC manufacturing equipment, factory automation system, and assembly line equipment. This position will support the daily function of supervising and developing the multi-skilled technical workforce. Core responsibilities will include, but not limited to, validation of new manufacturing equipment, directing the work flow and performance of the production maintenance team, troubleshoot and diagnose CNC metal cutting and shaping equipment, PLC programming and repair with emphasis on factory automation, etc.

Job Requirements
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
2.8+ years experience working as an electrician in a manufacturing environment
3.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1.2+ years experience supervising a multi-skilled technical workforce.
2.2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing Allen Bradley PLC’s such as SLC 500, SLC 5000, Micro Logix, Control Logix, etc.
3.2+ years experience Programming Allen Bradley PLC’s using Rockwell Automation RSLogix software.
4.1+ years experience with the development and programming of a factory automation system.
5.2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing CNC and Robotic machine systems.
6.2+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing Variable Frequency Drives.
7.2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing Components up to 480V 3 Phase.
8.2+ years experience managing new installation, validation, and start up of new manufacturing or assembly equipment in a steel manufacturing environment.
9.2+ years experience in troubleshooting or calibrating 4-20mA circuits and components.
10.Experience with SAP is a plus.

This position may require a valid Driver’s License.
