The primary responsibility of this role is to lead project engineering teams in providing technical leadership and giving recommendations and solutions for proposed facility requirements and in-service equipment issues.
Lead efforts and project teams to improve operability, maintainability, and reliability of existing assets.
Oversee any project activities of third party project managers, consulting engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors.
Participate in planning, commissioning, and start-up of new and modified facilities.
Utilize computer modeling and data analysis tolls to aid in the evaluation, justification, and development of solutions to problems and/or opportunities.
Influence decisions that improve reliability and operability, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage.
Utilize systems, processes, and support the subject matter expert to aid in decision making and potential project development.
Translate project plans into coherent, credible, realistic project schedules.
Prepare and provide schedule progress and risk reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis.
Provide technical support to all functional departments, as part of troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and optimization, during routine operations, start-up, and turnarounds.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the overall coordination of process design inputs from other engineering disciplines.
Support compressor performance analysis initiatives.
Have computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.
Possess the ability to manage multiple complex projects with a high level of customer satisfaction.
Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance on planning, scheduling, and engineering subjects.

A Successful Candidate Will:
- Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field.
- Have 1-12 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, but still acquiring higher level knowledge and capabilities.
- Have experience in pipeline and compressor operations.
- Possess knowledge of reciprocating machinery, compressor load curves, loading tables, high speed rotating equipment, and performance maps.
- Possession of a PE license is a plus.
