Our Catherines Plus Sizes Division is currently recruiting for an Assistant Store Sales Manager.

The Assistant Store Sales Manager is responsible for managing the store in the absence of the Store Sales Manager. This position also assists in the day-to-day running of the store which inlcudes directing activities to achieve all store goals, including sales objectives, customer service, human capital investment and retention, payroll and operating expenses, loss prevention and merchandise presentation.
- Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual KPI's ( Key Performance Indicators).
- With Store Sales Manager, monitor and develop store associate performance.
- Assist Store Sales Manager in directing and maintaining merchandise persentation according to Visual Merchandising standards.
- Assist Store Sales Manager in following the corporate loss prevention strategies and policies.
- Manage store in the absence of the Store Sales Manager.
- Assist Store Sales Manager in training and communicating changes in store policies and procedures to team.
- Personally demonstrate high level of customer service.
- Assist Store Sales Manager to effectively recruit, hire, train and supervise associates.
- Be aware of Company payroll hour allocation for store, and in the absence of the Store Sales Manager, use the hours to provide proper floor coverage.
- Be knowledgeeable of and able to complete all payroll procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with customer and/or associate problems/complaints.
- Exhibit sound decision-making skills and perform with a minimum of supervision.
The successful Assistant Store Sales Manager candidate will possess the following:
- 2 or more years of retail store experience. Management experience as an assistant store sales manager, department manager or keyholder preferred
Must have demonstrated professional leadership skills including the ability to manage diverse staff members
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make good decisions.
The ability to model and develop exceptional customer service standards and relationships.
