Blackbaud is always looking for new talent to add to our growing Finance and Accounting Team! These early career and sometimes temporary opportunities include a number of different responsibilities outlined below.
Major responsibilities and critical tasks:
- Collect past due balances by making payment inquiry calls or by sending payment inquiry emails to customers
- Provide customer service to clients with invoice questions and problems
- Resolve a range of customer issues regarding billing
- Fill customer requests for additional documentation when needed
- Evaluate problems requiring escalation or assistance from other departments
- Research and follow up with on-going client issues
- Ability to manage high volume data entry
- High degree of comfort with MS Windows based software, email and long-term computer use
- Experience using the phone for long periods of time
- Some sales experience (phone or retail) is helpful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to type and talk at the same time
Possible Responsibilities could include:
- Contractual Billing for Headquarters, BBE, and eTapestry
- Contract Adjustments for Headquarters, BBE, and eTapestry
- Creating and updating of Maintenance Contracts for contracts billed
- Updating of Customer records
- Revenue Recognition
- Researching of billing questions from various departments
