Director, Radiology

The Director is responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of the radiology department by exhibiting leadership which supports the hospital's mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians and coworkers as customers. The Director has ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital's primary function. The Director is responsible for employee evaluations, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders and department strategic planning. Position has budgetary or fiscal accountability. Additionally, a proven candidate will have a proven record of working under deadlines and utilizing independent decision making skills in a wide variety of situations.

Required Experience: Five years experience in radiology in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience. Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT). Completion of JRCERT formal program in Radiologic Technology. Bachelors Degree with 5 years experience in a hospital management role preferred.
