We are looking for an AVP, Commercial Loans to help lead our Commercial Mortgage Servicing group. You will be responsible for the oversight of Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing as well as continued improvement and focus on reporting needs. You will report to the VP-Head of Commercial Mortgage.

What you will be doing:

Managing the loan servicing function including overseeing property inspections and operating statement data collection

Working with borrowers and legal counsel on issues such as easements, condemnations, payoffs, partial releases and loan modifications

Evaluating the risk profile of each commercial real estate loan

Generating portfolio level analytics to assist our Portfolio Managers in making business decisions, and assisting with the management of our portfolio of commercial real estate loan portfolio

Current and timely retrieval of loan level data such as rent rolls and property operating statements

Recommending improvements to systems, procedures and reporting for continuous improvement and maximum efficiency

What you need to have:

Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing preferably with an insurance company, bank or CMBS servicer

Excellent Commercial Real Estate knowledge and Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing skills

Ability to identify potential problem loans proactively based on thorough knowledge of property level data, communication and market trends

Familiarity with a commercial mortgage accounting system, such as LMS, would be helpful

In order to be successful in this role you must demonstrate strong leadership, excellent computer skills, ability to multitask and set priorities, work with a sense of urgency, ability to meet deadlines and ability to interact with all levels of our organization and outside parties.
