Product Development Engineer
Job Description

We are on the lookout for a driven individual with a passion for the medical device industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Product Development Engineer to their team:

1) Manage product development projects, including project planning, specifying project phases, resource assignment, reporting to client companies, etc.
2) Generate and maintain design history files in conformity with design control and company procedure
3) Conduct and document risk analysis, effects analysis and failure modes for products under development
4) Plan and conduct product verification and validation testing
5) Prepare documentation release packages such as bills of materials, manufacturing instructions and components specifications
6) Plan, organize and implement systems and procedures for aiding manufacturing while adhering to and promoting safety and quality guidelines
7) Support the investigation and qualifying of new global sourcing opportunities
8) Identify product assembly issues and work with production, engineering and maintenance to resolve issues
9) Improve product consistency and eliminate variance
10) Observe and practice safety procedures and policies

Job Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
3) Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in product development
