Job Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for developing, supporting and delivering integrated, intelligent solutions and process for Schneider Electric clients in key market segments. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to develop broad solutions (facility, IT, process, and services) by understanding the customer context, process and needs, as well as technical, business and process aptitude induced by the integration of numerous interconnected components and sub-systems. Additionally, the ability to work horizontally across the entire SE organization to influence change in product, services, and process that enable a more efficient and effective offer to Schneider Electric clients.
Key responsibilities include:
1.In depth knowledge of customer process, parameters to be optimized and decision criteria to bring a differentiating value to the customer.
2.Development, adaptation and customization of reference architectures (Facilities and IT infrastructure) to meet specific customer needs.
3.Understanding of CapEx and OpEx. Develop / customize optimal technical / service solutions that will meet both Capex and Opex needs of the client and help the client develop, operate, maintain and sustain extremely efficient Data Center Operations and Strategy.
4.Architecture gap analysis between customer needs & reference architecture. Adapt the process description to identify the key decision criteria of the customer and propose an adapted architecture. Meet with local customer needs and capitalize on reference architectures to reduce time and execution risks
5.Support the selling teams on customer engagements by sharing our technical/solutions capabilities and demonstrating our understanding of the customer's business drivers
6.Draw a customized architecture proposition, based on gap analysis from reference architecture for the segment
7.Act as a consultant to local solution execution teams during project delivery
8.Work collaboratively across all Schneider Electric BU's to engage technical and support staff to deliver full Schneider offer to client.
9.High level of experience that leads towards credibility of the customer segment
10.May participate in the most complex project by customer segment and is identified as the leading expert for the customer segment
11.May engage in C-Level customer meetings to communicate value proposition and overall Schneider Electric solution
12.May be a team leader and provide mentorship to other team members and offer training opportunities based on experience
13.Provides input to Global reference architecture development
14.Act as a consultant for the Segment to product development
15.Pre-sales support, solution prescription, customer engagement with segment expertise and strong system engineering
16.Execution support: once a project is booked, this role will coordinate the system level design and the various workpackages during the design phase. The various workpackage owners are specialised on their applications but not on the whole system. This activity can extend during the project execution when there are major amendment that impact several packages and that may require segment expertise to define the best suited solution to customer change requests and to arbitrate between various workpackages (internal and external)

The expectation is that all SE Solutions Architect candidates will have the capacity to take the necessary steps to adhere to the following items below:

Must create and maintain close working relationships with Global SA and Solutions VP
Must determine US integrated solution priorities
Must develop a segment specific integrated specification
Must have demonstration capabilities of integrated solutions
Must understand how to utilize the Segment StruxureLab
Must be a member of Global EcoStruxure Community
Must become a Certified SA thru ES&U Certification Path (Associate, Professional, Master)
Must have formal access to technical experts in each BU based on the segment's integrated solution priorities

Qualifications and Capabilities
BA in enginering or closely related field
10 or more years of experience in gathering, analyzing and performing IT and Data Center related integrations
Excellent oral presentation skills and and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills to communicate with employees and staff members all levels
