Job Description
Our prestigious Florida Client is looking to add a Corporate Attorney to their existing Legal department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional corporate attorney with 6 to 10 years of real estate transactional/warehouse lease and commercial contracts experience. Candidates must be experienced with drafting, negotiating and advising management on a wide variety of corporate documents, including large real property contracts and intellectual property agreements. Top law school, stellar academics and Florida Bar license are required for this position.

  • Both in-house and private law firm experience is preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to handle and timely complete multiple tasks

    Reports directly to General Counsel and will work closely with senior management team.
    Primarily responsible for the review, drafting and approval of a wide variety of legal documents and agreements, as well as ensuring continuing compliance with those agreements.

    Additional responsibilities are:
  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of contracts and ancillary agreements, including commercial real estate leases, vendor agreements, supplier agreements, customer contracts, IT and software agreements, equipment procurement agreements, government bid documents, employment agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, etc.
  • Reviewing and revising third-party contracts and agreements and providing legal guidance on contract interpretation
  • Assisting in the review, interpretation, enforcement and/or defense of various agreements in connection with litigation matters
  • Assisting with due diligence and contract review/drafting in conjunction with acquisitions and divestitures
