Job Description

Job Summary:
To perform advanced, diversified and confidential administrative support for DCP Midstream North Region Vice President and his staff by preparing data and reports and miscellaneous administrative functions requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skills and knowledge of the organization?s policies and practices. Senior Administrative Assistant is expected to provide superior administrative support and customer service with high attention to detail and accuracy, and contribute to a positive, collaborative and professional team environment.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates the day to day operations of the Vice President?s office. Manages and maintains their schedules in an efficient and effective manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Supports Vice President and Managing Directors (3) through preparation for daily events and follow-up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining action lists and reminders, and meeting preparation)
Must handle matters for respective leaders in their absence; i.e. forwarding, answering and deleting e-mails as well as reviewing and updating calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts.
Supports significant projects that require a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Makes travel arrangements and bookings for executives.
Strong analytical and presentation skills using Excel and PowerPoint software.
Must exercise initiative, judgment and knowledge of company policies, practices and the organization.
Acts as a liaison between respective North Region leaders and internal and external clients.
Supports Regional leadership?s requirements to ensure effective external customer relationships and customer service by establishing a system that facilitates a disciplined approach to the region?s efforts to effective communicate information to customers and to hold regularly scheduled meetings to ensure strong connective customer relations.
Prepares and distributes key performance indicator reports.
Establishes a positive working relationship with office and field administrative assistants in order to promote north region collaboration among commercial and operations organizations, as well as other key organizations and staff that support the regional initiatives to operate and a highly effective gathering and processing businesses.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma
8 years of Administrative experience with at least 3 years supporting executives
Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Desired Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills
Must have excellent verbal, written, and grammatical skills
Must be customer service oriented and have a polished and professional demeanor and image to interact with external parties
Ability to maintain confidentiality required of work assignments and is independent and resourceful to accomplish day to day tasks and assignments
Must have high attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities
Must be a self-starter independent worker that is comfortable working in an unstructured environment
Must be proactive in terms of anticipating needs and follow-up items for executives
Oil and gas experience preferred
Experience with administration for sales, marketing and customer service
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move from location to location, prepare written communications, present information to others, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data into various programs.
