Exterior products include louver systems, grilles, sun controls, expansion joint covers and venting. With 22 offices worldwide, we sell, manufacture, and service products globally.
We currently are recruiting for an International Specification Marketing Manager based in California. This position will focus on major commercial building projects located in the Far East and the Middle East. Travel will consist of approximately three international trips per year, plus travel to the West Coast.
Within the California market, proactively ensure that CS products are uniquely specified on major healthcare, education, office, hotel and similar projects where the
project location is outside North America.
Work collaboratively with the CS Independent Sales Representatives as well as our businesses/sales forces outside North America and be responsible for securing
orders thereby exceeding agreed booking and margin targets.
Achieve this by using all lead generation sources that identify major overseas non-residential construction projects that are at an early design stage.
Creatively promote to the designer, develop individual relationships and identify project problems they anticipate and opportunities for CS Group.
Create and implement a project sales plan.
Using PowerPoint, carry out project specific box lunch presentations to groups of designers and building owners.
Through consultative selling, solve their design issues and problems.
Cross sell and up sell.
Assist with specification writing and plan bid strategies all aimed at maximizing closing ratios.
Develop long term relationships with key designers, owners and contractors so they become repeat C/S customers and advocates.
Plan and organize the sales territory so that it consistently produces $3 million worth of profitable orders each year.
3 + years prior experience in architectural building products specification.
