This unique position is responsible for supporting the Agency Administration Team of MarketPOINT through assigned projects, management of commission processes and timely payments to career and referral agents, development of Access databases, reporting tools for trend analysis, and process improvements to grow our business.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Administration of Senior Products incentive compensation for captive sales force of approximately 2000 for non-Medicare sales.
  • Administration of the agent referral compensation program for contracted brokers on behalf of Humana MarketPOINT.
  • Administration and processing of non-Medicare sales and commissions information, account management and problem resolution.
  • Create and maintain various databases and produce accurate and easy to understand reporting, trend analysis and statistics for our changing business model.
  • Improve processes by identifying problems or inefficiencies, researching solutions and documenting results.
  • Develop and strengthen MarketPOINT's relationship with the field at every opportunity.
  • Research and resolve all manner of inquiries from the field for all distribution channels for MarketPOINT.
  • Actively participate in on-going efforts to improve processes and streamline functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Role Essentials
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong proficiency or expertise in Microsoft Access including ability to develop databases
  • Proven clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize work while managing shifting priorities in an ever changing environment
  • Experience in process documentation, procedure design, project management, training, information analysis or reporting
  • Proven ability to leverage relationships to obtain information necessary to provide the team with the most current business information
  • Understanding of insurance products, Medicare and industry knowledge
  • Willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done and keep a positive attitude

    Role Desirables
  • Life and Health License (or willingness to obtain in a reasonable timeframe)
  • Background in finance and/or compensation
  • Some background in customer service
  • General knowledge of SQL helpful
  • Six Sigma Certification or similar experience
  • Evidence of ability to self manage

    Reporting Relationships
    This position is in the Other Products area of Agency Administration for MarketPOINT and will report to the leadership of that team.

    Additional Information
    Extended hours will be required during peak times, special projects or specific monthly deadlines. This job may have some minimal travel.
